'm using them for the rest of the show. thank you, greg. >>> boehner ripped into president obama, speaker boehner calling the white house fiscal plan a joke. senator ron johnson is on the budget committee. he joins us. good evening, sir. >> greta, how you doing? >> greta: very well, and calling the plan a joke, i guess he is not going to beat around the bush for us. >> unfortunately, greta, president obama pretty well holds all the cards in this negotiation. if he wants to have tax increases or tax rates go up, i don't see how republicans can stop him, you know, because everybody's taxes are going to increase if congress does nothing, and president obama is the only person that can sign a bill into law and quite honestly, senator harry reid is the only person in the senate that can pass a bill in the senate as well. it sounds like people like howard dean want everybody's taxes to go up. maybe we should feel fortunate that president obama only wants the top two% to g two percent t. >> greta: do you anticipate republicans will vote for a rate increase if this should come to a vote? >> i don
? the president or congress. i would make the argument that obama is clearly the one. certainly democrats are probably little bit more to blame. two years ago, democrats ran the entire town. they had a filibuster proof majority in the senate. they control the house and white house. if they wanted to cut spending at that time, they could have done so. republicans -- they could've done it over every republican objection and they could've gotten everything they wanted. they didn't do that. but i do think it's worth remembering that if you go back 10 years, president bush, and the republican-controlled congress, then acted too expensive for us that were not paid for. the thing that is worse today with obamacare, which i don't think we'll actually get paid for with these sudden efficiencies we will find in the federal government, which the federal government has never found before -- is that wars eventually end. entitlement programs like obamacare go on forever. just for those reasons, i do think democrats are far worse. all of these people have some blood on their hands. greg: you said that a
from the white house was let's fix this problem by incorporating a small businesses and less government intervention to curb the deficit. it has been astronomical. then i heard barack obama say the way we are going to do it is by making more cuts in various ways. he was saying by making more cuts and the only people it is going to hurt is the working class and somewhat of the middle-class. he should mention the fact that out of control spending has a lot to do with the credit card crunch. specifically because of the middle-class. i think if we get those tax cuts centered with them, i do not think the poll would be affected. you have these small companies that are developing, and he is saying have those small companies hire more people and get them involved, but come consumer expenditures. that is partially i think a solution. host: you are calling on the republican line and you think hillary clinton would make a good candidate. would you vote for her in 2016? caller: i think she would be a very vital aspect to the political process. as far as her running for president, 2016 -- god knows
